LINCOLN, RI – BETA Group, Inc. (BETA) is proud to be working with Kansas City, Missouri based architectural firm, Pendulum, to study the future of McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. BETA will work with the selected team, which also includes national architectural firm SLAM Collaborative, the Pawsox, The State of Rhode Island, and the City to evaluate the existing facility and operations and make recommendations for improvements.

The study is the first step in developing a master plan for the Stadium, including significant upgrades and repairs to bring the Stadium up to par with the standards and amenities of other MLB affiliated AAA baseball stadiums. BETA recently worked with Pendulum on the Hartford Yard Goats’ baseball stadium in Hartford, Connecticut. Having provided integrated engineering and landscape architecture services to the City of Pawtucket for many years, BETA is excited to bring that experience and expertise to this high profile project.

“The Blackstone Valley and the City of Pawtucket have been fortunate to work with BETA on many significant projects over the years, from environmental studies to master plans,” said Bob Billington, President and CEO of the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council. “They have been our designers and great thought leaders in every design project we undertake. We are excited to see them bring their visioning and engineering consulting services to this large-scale, important project, which will determine the future of the stadium. I know the people of Pawtucket are so eager to see the results of this undertaking.”
