This position can be based out of our Lincoln, RI, Norwood, MA, or Worcester, MA office, however there will be times that travel to the other locations is necessary.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Utilize GIS software as tool for developing solutions to complex planning problems
  • Perform quality assurance of GIS data and associated graphic components
  • Work within a team environment to develop geographic database structures, tables, forms, and reports
  • Develop, support, and provide training with ESRI based web applications; WebApp Builder, WebApps, Dashboards, Experience Builder, Field Maps, Survey123, and Work Force
  • Assist in the collection of field data, asset inspections and field measurements including but not limited to roadway, sidewalk, and drainage assets.
  • Provide GIS related technical support both internally and to external clients
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in the GIS field

Professional Requirements:

  • Experience with ESRI suite of tools (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online)
  • An understanding of geospatial data such as modeling, scrubbing, manipulation, hierarchies, maintenance, and relationships with specific experience
  • A solid knowledge of technical application, concepts, principals, and theories in GIS
  • Experience in map generation and visualization
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and efficiently
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities
  • Valid driver’s license is a must
  • 1+ years of experience with GIS applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, engineering, environmental resources, or a related field
  • Prior experience with municipal and/or state asset management projects
  • Knowledge of pavement management and ADA/MUTCD compliance principles
