Project Manager – Water/Wastewater

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Project Manager Water/Wastewater in our Norwood office. In this role, the Project Manager Water/Wastewater will manage and work alongside industry-leading engineers, planners, and landscape architects on high-profile water, wastewater, and stormwater projects for a largely municipal client base.

Responsibilities/Skills Required:

  • Lead team on a variety of water, wastewater, and stormwater related projects
  • Produce high-quality designs, reports, and models, responsible for ensuring proper quality control procedures on all projects
  • Supervise/coordinate/mentor less experienced staff, as well as instruct them on technical procedures and review their work for accuracy
  • Properly scope, schedule, and budget assignments/projects
  • Coordinate with clients on assigned projects and drive them to completion
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of projects
  • Skillfully negotiate contracts and develop agreements
  • Oversee, collaborate, and communicate with project team to complete projects on time and on budget
  • Manage multiple ongoing projects at once

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Must have 12+ years of water, wastewater, or stormwater engineering experience
  • PE license is required
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage engineering design/construction and planning projects
  • Construction administration experience is preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
