BETA Group, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of our new Boston office! In 1985, BETA opened a small office in the City. Nearly 40 years later, the firm is excited to be back in Boston with this seventh office location in New England.

BETA is providing engineering, planning, landscape architecture and environmental services to the City of Boston and State agencies located in the City including MassDOT, MBTA, Department of Conservation and Recreation, and MassPort. Our new office, located near Post Office Square, provides easy access to public transportation and major roadway networks allowing our staff to serve our clients within the City and region, while providing a great location and amenities for BETA’s growing staff to work and collaborate.

With the opening of our new office in Boston, we now have offices in Lincoln RI, Manchester NH, Hartford CT, and multiple Massachusetts locations including Boston, Norwood, Worcester, Chicopee, Manchester NH. Along with offices throughout New England, to help meet the needs of our employees, we also offer a hybrid work schedule where employees can choose days to work remote and days to work in one of our offices.

Main Responsibilities:
Day-to-day activities will vary. You may be conducting field investigations one day and developing design concepts in the office the next. Our transportation/civil engineers design roadways and intersections, perform drainage analysis and design, assist with preparation of plans and other technical documents, and work directly with our project managers on complex design projects. Our engineers are often involved in urban planning, stormwater management, and streetscape design projects.

We work for municipalities, as well as with regional planning agencies and state agencies. At BETA, the wide range of services that we provide to our clients results in considerable interaction and teamwork within the company. Our engineers regularly work with other transportation engineers, Landscape Architects, structural engineers, and GIS/Asset Management specialists on a variety of projects.
