Tony is the officer in charge of our Norwood office and is a member of BETA’S corporate management team. He oversees a multi-disciplined staff with expertise ranging from transportation, structures, environmental engineering to environmental sciences. Throughout his career he has provided a full spectrum of client services including identification of funding sources, feasibility studies, conceptual design, planning, constraint identification and impact assessment, design development, construction documents, and services during construction.
Tony has been involved in a number of major transportation projects including the Route 44 Highway Relocation, the Sagamore Circle Upgrade, the Urban Ring, the Providence Highway Bridge in Dedham, and Commonwealth Avenue in Boston. He has also been involved in numerous downtown improvement projects including Dedham, Framingham, Lexington, Lynn, Milton, Plymouth, Quincy, and Reading. He has been an active participant within ACEC/MA having served on the Transportation Agency Liaison Committee for more than 20 years. During his tenure, he has served as a TALC Chair and has been involved in partnering efforts with Massport and MassDOT. Most recently, Tony has focused his efforts on BETA’s Water Street Promenade project, an effort to develop and design harbor-front and roadway improvements in preparation for the Town’s 400th Anniversary in 2020.
Tony served on his Town’s Capital Planning Committee for more than 25 years (retired in 2016), as well as volunteered for numerous town committees including School Rebuilds, Park/Field Maintenance Study, and Special Projects. He enjoys sailing, vacationing on the Cape, and attempting a round of golf every so often.
