James R. Dyment, PE

Vice President

James has over 20 years of civil/environmental engineering experience, all of which have been with BETA. His responsibilities include the design and construction management of water and wastewater facilities. The majority of the projects he manages are multidisciplinary in nature and include water and wastewater pumping stations, and treatment and storage facilities. James is a “hands on” manager that develops excellent working relationships with his clients and solicits input/feedback from all levels of facility personnel in an effort to effectively deliver projects that meet expectations of owners as well as their support and operations staff.

A graduate of UMass Dartmouth, James is a registered engineer in both Rhode Island and New Hampshire. He is also an Envision™ Sustainability Professional. He is experienced in identifying, evaluating, and rating the community, environmental, and economic benefits of all types and sizes of infrastructure projects.

In his spare time, James enjoys the outdoors and coaching soccer and baseball for his two children.
