William P. McGrath, PE

Vice President

Bill is a Vice President at BETA in the Transportation Department. He manages a variety of transportation projects for agencies such as RIDOT, MassDOT, and Massport as well as for many municipalities.

Bill has been involved with the design of a number of high profile projects, including the Sagamore Rotary grade separation on the Route 3 approach to Cape Cod, the South Boston Bypass Road portion of the Central Artery project, the extension of commuter rail from Framingham to Worcester, and the planning for the Urban Ring BRT project, a $2 billion dollar bus rapid transit project in Boston and six surrounding communities.

Bill spends much of his free time renovating his house and following the burgeoning careers of his three children. He also enjoys relaxing by playing golf and hockey and vacationing at the beach in Maine.
