With over 40 years of experience in the civil/environmental engineering field and construction management, Bill provides project management and technical expertise to a variety of facility planning, design, and construction related projects. He plays an essential role in BETA’s successful relationships with numerous New England-based construction firms as well as many federal, state, and local Regulatory Agencies, Commissions, and Municipalities.
In his role as Vice President of BETA’s Construction Services Division, Bill is responsible for managing all field and construction related operations throughout the company’s five regional offices. He manages and coordinates our staff of field representatives; conducts design and constructability reviews; provides construction-related advice and support to individual project teams; and implements and oversees quality control measures, standards and training for construction management and oversight. He also plays an integral role in managing the development of BETA’s overall engineering services and serves as a lead QA/QC administrator and technical advisor for many of BETA’s design and construction projects.
Bill’s technical and innovative expertise towards engineering utility pipeline projects is well complimented by his in-depth knowledge and proven ability to utilize the ever growing development of “trenchless technologies” as practical, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly construction alternatives for utility projects within the public and private sector. These techniques have included horizontal directional drilling, microtunneling, pipe bursting, and internal pipe linings.
Serving as testimony to his long-term dedication to BETA, Bill has been the firm since 1982, the year it was first formed.
