May 30, 2017

LINCOLN, RI – The New England Chapter of the American Public Works Association (NEAPWA) supports the people, agencies, and organizations that plan, build, maintain, and improve our communities. Each year, the NEAPWA honors a Chapter member who has provided consistent support and contributions. We are proud to announce that BETA Group, Inc. was selected as the 2017 NEAPWA Contributor of the Year.

BETA has been involved with NEAPWA for over 20 years and is currently a Gold Sponsor of the organization. With a passion for public works and municipal clients, BETA strives to raise awareness of the NEAPWA and the public works professionals who make such an impact on our communities.

Several of BETA’s employees are actively involved in the Association, including BETA’s Vice President Tony Garro, who serves on the executive board; Senior Vice President Tony Lionetta, who is a member of the Awards Committee; Marketing Manager Aimee Couture, who is editor of the NEAPWA quarterly newsletter and a member of the Public Works Awareness Committee; and Project Manager Conrad Leger, who is involved in organizing events for the Young Professionals Group.

BETA will be in attendance at the American Public Works Association’s National Conference, being held in Orlando, Florida this summer, where the Chapter and several of its members will receive 17 National Awards.
