Gershman Promoted to Chief Operating Officer

BETA is pleased to announce that Mark Gershman, PE has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). As a Senior Vice President and Manager of our Norwood office, Mark also previously led the Structural Engineering Practice at BETA for the last 12 years.

Mark’s extensive experience managing engineering projects, combined with his solid business acumen, make him an excellent fit for the role of COO. In this position Mark will oversee the administrative and operational functions of the firm including coordination with office managers, overall workload and staffing, and project financial performance.

Mark will continue his involvement with overall corporate strategy, corporate initiatives, and risk management. His background with implementing key company initiatives at BETA has provided him with a comprehensive foundation and depth of understanding that will greatly benefit the firm. As BETA plans for future growth, having Mark as our COO will provide critical insight to strengthen our overall business operations.
