Thinking about investing in your community’s parks and trails? In Massachusetts, the Parkland Acquisitions and Renovations for Communities (PARC) Grant Program was established to acquire parkland, build a new park, or to renovate an existing park. Any town with a population of 35,000 or more year-round residents, or any city regardless of size, that has an authorized park/recreation commission and that has submitted an up-to-date Open Space and Recreation Plan is eligible to participate in the program. A maximum of $500,000 is available per applicant. The application deadline is July 13, 2023.
