Groundbreaking Ceremony Marks Start of City Hall Plaza Skating Rink Project in Warwick

Warwick, RI –  The City of Warwick kicks off an exciting journey with today’s groundbreaking ceremony for the City Hall Plaza Skating Rink project. The skating rink is set to become a boutique outdoor ice-skating destination, serving as a hub of activity and enjoyment in the City. BETA is the prime consultant for the project in collaboration with Architect Glen Fontecchio, BER Consultants, B32, and Camera and Oneil.

Bentley Builders of Warwick, RI, has been awarded the contract for the project, which includes constructing a new outdoor skating rink, erecting a modern rink building, installing a spacious open-air shade structure, and implementing site area improvements.

Mayor Frank Picozzi has expressed his enthusiasm for the project, emphasizing its significance in enhancing the quality of life for Warwick residents.
