BETA Group, Inc. Acquires Luchs and DeCarlo & Doll

LINCOLN, RI – BETA Group, Inc. (BETA), a New England-based engineering, planning, environmental science, and landscape architecture firm, has acquired Meriden, Connecticut-based Luchs Consulting Engineers, LLC, and DeCarlo & Doll, Inc. Effective August 20, 2026, the acquisition expands BETA’s multidisciplinary team and in-house capabilities.

With over 100 years of combined experience, Luchs and DeCarlo & Doll provide a full range of engineering services to state, municipal, utility, and private clients throughout Connecticut, specializing in civil, highway, traffic, structural, survey, and utility design, as well as architecture, construction administration, and inspection services. Ronald Nault, PE, former owner of Luchs and DeCarlo & Doll, has joined BETA as a Vice President out of our new Meriden office.
