Celebrating Employee Ownership Month

October is Employee Ownership Month, and at BETA, we have plenty to celebrate! As a 100% employee-owned company, our success is driven by the dedication, expertise, and collaboration of our incredible team. Every employee plays an important role in shaping our future and making a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

To celebrate, our Employee Ownership Committee surprised our team with custom BETA canvas tote bags as a small token of appreciation for the people who carry our company forward every day. We’re proud of the culture of ownership we’ve built together and grateful to every member of our team for their continued contributions. We’re “tote-ally” better together!

Funding Opportunities Available in Massachusetts and Connecticut

Massachusetts: Build for Mass
Municipalities looking to move infrastructure projects from planning to implementation may benefit from Massachusetts’ new $75 million Build for Mass program. Through flexible, low-interest financing, communities can address financial barriers that might otherwise delay investments in transportation, downtown revitalization, coastal resilience, and clean energy. The program is particularly focused on supporting Gateway Cities and rural communities.

Connecticut: Community Investment Fund 2030
Connecticut’s Community Investment Fund 2030 (CIF) is accepting Round 10 applications through December 4, 2026. The program provides grants to eligible municipalities, nonprofits, and community development corporations for infrastructure improvements, brownfield remediation, affordable housing, clean energy, and project planning.

BETA is here to help! Our multidisciplinary team can assist communities with identifying funding opportunities, evaluating project eligibility, and preparing competitive applications. Contact us to learn how we can help move your next project forward.
