As an Associate at BETA, Jaklyn brings 24 years of experience designing, analyzing, and managing transportation improvements for municipalities, regional agencies, and state DOTs across New England.

Jaklyn has led traffic signal design and reconstruction projects from concept through final design, often coordinating complex intersection upgrades, corridor signal systems, and adaptive signal technologies. Her experience spans traffic modeling and analysis, traffic management and detour planning, safety studies, roundabout evaluations, and the design of signage and pavement markings. She regularly prepares traffic assessments involving signal warrants, operational analyses, and crash data evaluation to support informed decision-making.

In addition to design and analysis, Jaklyn frequently works in public- and agency-facing roles, leading peer reviews, supporting public meetings, and coordinating closely with local staff, MassDOT, and RIDOT. She is proficient in VISSIM, SYNCHRO, HCS, and AutoCAD, and is known for translating technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations that balance safety, operations, and community context.
