Jason Plourde, PE, PTP

Senior Project Manager

Jason is a Senior Project Manager on our transportation team with 30 years of experience in traffic engineering and transportation planning. He has been recognized for enhancing the mobility and safety of various modes of transportation. His extensive experience includes evaluating and developing intersection and corridor improvements, traffic calming measures, access management, and Complete Streets alternatives. Jason is active within the engineering and planning communities, currently volunteering on the Plan New Hampshire Design Charrette Committee and serving as the Chair of his town’s Traffic Safety Advisory Committee. His previous community involvement also includes roles on his town’s Zoning Board of Adjustment, Economic Development Advisory Council, and Capital Improvement Plan Advisory Committee. Nationally, Jason was selected as one of 11 professionals to serve on an Institute of Transportation Engineers advisory panel, overseeing the development of a Transportation Impact Analysis training program.

Committed to professional development and continuous learning, Jason has successfully completed several specialized training programs including the NCRRS Road Safety Champion certificate program, the NHI Designing and Operating Roadways for Safe Speeds program, the FHWA Road Safety Audits for Local Agencies and Tribes program, and the UMass Transportation Center Complete Streets training program. Jason is a licensed Professional Engineer in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. He is LPA certified in Maine and New Hampshire and one of only +/-20 certified Professional Transportation Planners in New England. Jason obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Florida Tech.
