In his 22-year tenure with BETA, Nick has been involved in numerous planning, design, and construction projects for a variety of water and wastewater projects. Nick has served as a Project Manager, overseeing over $25M of water and wastewater construction projects for the City of Framingham, MA. His responsibilities have included providing bidding assistance, reviewing submittals, organizing and running project meetings, coordinating contractors with multiple levels of City personnel, obtaining permits on behalf of the City, negotiating Change Orders, and interfacing with various funding agencies. His understanding of municipal bidding and construction laws, skill in coordinating many different stakeholders, and attention to detail have made Nick an invaluable liaison for the City.

Nick has also performed infiltration/inflow (I/I) studies; sewer system evaluation surveys (SSES); and sanitary sewer extension, replacement, and rehabilitation designs, as well as pumping station and treatment facility designs and construction in a number of communities in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Nick is also a member of the New England Water Environment Association (NEWEA), the New England Water Works Association (NEWWA), and the Massachusetts Water Works Association (MWWA).
