Celebrating 40 Years Together
As we reached the halfway point of our year-long anniversary celebration, we were overjoyed to see employee-owners from all six of our New England offices together once again to celebrate summer and 40 years of improving communities together at our summer cookout. While we haven’t missed a beat these last few years, it was nice to see everyone together, in person. Our team is truly better together!
BETA Provides Scholarships in Honor of 40th Anniversary
With a mission to “improve the communities where we live and work,” BETA has launched several initiatives to commemorate its anniversary this year. One key initiative was to support the future of the engineering industry by supporting the education of the next generation of engineers.
With six offices throughout New England, BETA felt it would be appropriate to make donations towards scholarships in the school systems for each of those six communities. Additionally, BETA selected several national organizations that support our diversity, equity, and inclusion goals. Donations were made towards the scholarship programs at the National Society of Black Engineers, the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers, the Society of Women Engineers, and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. Celebrating 10 Years of Landscape Architecture Services
In addition to celebrating our 40th anniversary this year, we are also fortunate that 2022 marks our tenth year of providing in-house landscape architecture services to communities, agencies, and private clients throughout New England. In 2012, BETA Group, Inc. acquired Gates, Leighton, & Associates (GLA) after decades of collaboration.
As a cohesive team, we bring a balanced approach of both creativity and buildability in designing vibrant and sustainable spaces. We partner with our clients to guide them through each project’s specific needs and tailor project solutions to fit aesthetics, budget, and goals.
