BETA Group, Inc. (BETA) is pleased to announce that Jay Metzger has joined the firm as a senior project manager in its growing GIS and Asset Management Group. Based in the firm’s Lincoln office, Jay will focus on advancing geospatial asset management initiatives, enhancing GIS data management practices, and strengthening client service across New England communities. His work will support BETA’s ongoing efforts in pavement management, public works operations, and planning improvements that help communities maintain and optimize critical infrastructure.

With over 15 years of experience in GIS administration, data analytics, and modern mapping technologies, Jay brings a dynamic mix of technical expertise and leadership to BETA. He has managed GIS operations for municipalities and state agencies, developed enterprise-level data environments, and championed the integration of GIS tools to support informed decision-making. Jay has also led key projects in spatial data visualization, public health data systems, and roadway management, earning recognition for innovative and impactful solutions.
