Using Trenchless Technology to Protect an Environmentally Sensitive Community

BETA recently worked with the Town of Wareham, MA to make repairs to its aging sanitary sewer system. The environmentally sensitive location of the system’s deteriorating pipes made the project especially complex as the system runs adjacent to the Wareham River, marshes, and fish farms. Using trenchless technology, BETA and the Town opted for a construction method that would ensure minimal disruption to the community and also protect the sensitive coastal ecosystem.
