Dunn’s Corner Elementary School

BETA provided landscape architectural services for site improvements associated with additions to Dunn’s Corner Elementary School. Located in a low-lying area surrounded by steep slopes, the site presented circulation and ADA accessibility challenges that required a comprehensive redesign.

The project included new sidewalks, stairs, parking areas, and circulation improvements to enhance access to the playground, school entrance, and dedicated student drop-off and bus pickup areas. The main entrance plaza was enhanced with new seating areas and ADA-accessible parking, while the parking lot was reconfigured to improve traffic circulation and provide direct pedestrian access to the playgrounds.

BETA also designed a new outdoor classroom and upgraded the existing student community gardens with new plantings and fencing, creating expanded opportunities for outdoor learning and recreation.
