Joshua Rainho, PE

Josh is a Senior Structural Engineer with extensive experience in the design and delivery of bridge and transportation infrastructure projects. Since joining BETA in 2017, Josh has contributed to a wide range of complex structural designs for state and municipal clients across New England.

Josh’s expertise includes bridge replacement and rehabilitation, accelerated bridge construction, staged construction, and the use of prefabricated bridge elements to minimize traffic impacts. He has developed construction plans and design calculations for multi-span highway bridges, steel and concrete superstructures, culverts, pedestrian bridges, and pump station structures, working closely with DOTs and project stakeholders throughout design and construction.

A licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Josh brings strong technical skills and practical problem-solving to every project. He holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering and has specialized training in bridge inspection and construction access equipment.
