D’Alesio Elected President of ACEC-Rhode Island

LINCOLN, RI – On June 5, 2018 Joseph D’Alesio, PE was named President of the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC-RI). ACEC-RI serves as the voice of Rhode Island’s professional engineering community, representing over 30 independent companies engaged in the design and engineering of transportation, environmental, industrial, energy, land development and other infrastructure projects on behalf of clients in both the public and private sectors. ACEC-RI’s mission is to advance the business, education, community engagement, and overall growth and success of member firms.

Mr. D’Alesio is a Senior Vice President with BETA Group, Inc. and has over four decades of civil engineering experience specializing in the planning and design of wastewater treatment, collection and pumping systems, and construction management. He serves as client manager for some of BETA’s high profile projects with clients such as the Narragansett Bay Commission and municipalities including the City of Framingham and the Town of Brookline. Mr. D’Alesio is primarily responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution of the environmental engineering projects – both water and wastewater.

During his tenure at BETA, Mr. D’Alesio has built one of the most respected, qualified, and diverse environmental engineering teams in New England, dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients. The group’s track record regarding quality, schedule, and cost compliance is reflected by the number of repeat clients they have serviced under his leadership.

Mr. D’Alesio had previously held the positions of Treasurer and Vice President of ACEC-RI before being elected to the role of President.
