Marylou is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Licensed Site Professional (LSP) managing numerous hazardous waste site evaluations and remedial projects under the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP), 310 CMR 40.0000. She is the principal decision maker regarding releases of petroleum products, chlorinated solvents, metals, and other hazardous materials at state-owned facilities; residential, commercial, industrial and brownfields sites; and releases related to large-scale land disposal of hazardous wastes and industrial materials.

Marylou has designed and implemented remedial activities involving engineered barriers, major excavations of contaminated soil, stabilization of RCRA waste soils, soil vapor extraction systems, and ground water extraction & treatment systems throughout New England. Marylou has invested her career working with the private, public, and non-profit sector promoting compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations while at the same time applying practical and economic solutions for her clients. As a hazardous material and waste management professional and team leader for more than 30 years, she has worked with both the private and municipal sectors and uniquely understands balancing clients’ business needs with satisfying regulatory requirements.
